A day trip into the country side , to the Albani Hills , scattered with fascinating towns and historical villas. The area, devoted from Antiquity to the Late Latin gods, steel keeps the fasciantion of nature, presence and myths of classical world, blended with the beauty of Renaissance and baroque villas. Together with art and monuments we will not forget the culture of well living: a wine tasting at the tenuta Pallavicini will make us enjoy the culture of local wine and gastronomy. Our one day trip will bring us to some astonishing spots, highlighting these diferent fascinations. We will start with Villa Aldobrandini gardens of Frascati: still a lush, private gardens where architecture is commanding over nature, where the mountain and it’s flow of water are part of a majestic monumental and mythical composition of Atlas and Hercules We wiil then continue with a wine tasting at Pallavicini estate. where vineyards and olive groves are everywhere the eye can see. Here we will visit the historic family-owned wine producer wher you will wander the vineyard and production  site as your guide tells you all about the history of wine in the Roman culture from Bacchus the God of wine to the Roman origin of the modern wine bottle size. Your expert English- speaking guide will take you for a well deserved tasting of a selection of local red and withe wines along with extra-virgin olive oil on fresh baked bread. After lunch we will spend the afternoon visiting the Museo Archeologico di Albano, housed in a villa dating from 1834, where we will admire the Neoclassic paintings of one room , together with all the archaeological finds of the Albano area. The visit will be followed by a trip into the monumental circuit of Albano : the big Roman Cistern, still filled with water, the Church of Santa Maria della Rotonda, built over a round nimphaeum (monumental fountain) of the Emperors’ Domizian  villa and the Catacombs of S. Senatore with its frescoes dating from the end of IV century a.C untill XII century.

The visit includes:
- a walking tour into the Pallavicini vineyard, the visit of the barrel cellar and of the bariccaia, the visit of the underground caves used for bottle aging and of the cellars, wine tasting with the company personnel.
